US Grand Prix (2013): Vettel steals pole from Webber
Sebastian Vettel may already have wrapped up the drivers title, but that hasn’t taken away his motivation to win. Despite what looked like an unbeatable time by Mark Webber, Vettel managed to turn a lap that didn’t look like it had the legs in the first half in to a second half that pipped Webber to pole. With a massive 18-car product offensive planned for 2009, Toyota should have been one of the stars of this year's London show. But there's a clue in the timing; 2008 is a quiet year for Toyota, with a lull before next year's storm of new models. What’s new on Toyota’s London motor show stand?
While most of us are home on Jan. 2, working off a two-day sports hangover, the 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade will take place in Pasadena, Calif., with the world's heaviest and longest parade float--powered by a 6.8-liter Ford V10. The Natural Balance Pet Foods float will measure 116 feet at its longest point and weigh in at 100,000 pounds, all of which is certified by the book of Guinness World Records.
